🇴🇲 Ramadan in Oman
17–27 February 2026
11 days / 9 full days of experiences + 2 travel (half)days
You only need 9 days of vacation.
Ramadan in Oman is one of the calmest and most magical times of the year. The country slows down, the atmosphere softens, and tradition, family, neighbourhood unity, and generosity come to the forefront.
In 2026, Ramadan begins on 17 February — and you have a unique chance to experience its first days right in Oman.
You can look forward to a colourful program filled with nature, mountains, deserts, oases, and history, just like during the regular dates — but with the added value of deeper authenticity.
During Ramadan, local people do not eat or drink during the day. It is therefore recommended to avoid eating in public. You can accept the challenge and fast together with the locals, or simply eat discreetly from your own supplies. After sunset, we will enjoy dinners together in restaurants or as part of our accommodation.
Oman in its most colourful form
Each day takes us into a different world — mountains, sea, ancient towns, mysterious beehive tombs, canyons, oases, and traditional desert cities with sand-coloured forts. Stunning nature, unique views, and stories hidden in clay houses, stone alleys, and deep mountain valleys.
This journey is designed for nature lovers and travellers who enjoy variety, regardless of age.
The program is flexible — more demanding activities are always optional.
We will travel by car between locations, and if you prefer not to join a hike, you can enjoy a slower pace and simply relax in beautiful surroundings.

Our journey through Oman
Together we will explore a land where wild nature, ancient history, and the kindness of local people meet. Our days will be full of discovery, new experiences, and also space for slowing down, breathing, and listening to ourselves and the world around us.
🏚 Ancient clay villages — we'll walk through abandoned mud houses where every step echoes centuries of history.
🌴 Traditional mountain village — overnight stay in a UNESCO-protected area with an ancient irrigation system; sunset over the canyon.
🏡 400-year-old heritage house — taste traditions and culture in a home transformed into a living museum.
🏞 Clay houses beneath a dramatic canyon — accommodation at the bottom of a majestic gorge with views of Oman's highest peak.
🏛 Mysterious beehive tombs — more than 4,000 years old and listed by UNESCO.
🥾 Famous mountain hike — along the rocky face of "Oman's Grand Canyon," passing through silent mountain villages and absorbing the peace and power of the mountains.
🛍 Traditional market — full of spices, fresh fruit, traders' voices, and the sounds of livestock; sunset by a legendary sand-coloured fort.
🕌 Muscat — visit the grand mosque and the Royal Opera House; those interested can explore museums, wander through the famous market, stroll along the harbour promenade, and swim in the sea.
Throughout the journey, we'll not only enjoy the places and experiences, but also time for ourselves — quiet moments, optional evening sharing, and space to simply be.
