🇴🇲 FEBRUARY IN OMAN

Come warm up with us and make your winter feel shorter

AN ADVENTURE THAT TAKES YOU FAR FROM THE EVERYDAY

Dates: February 2 – 16, 2026

A total of 15 days (13 full days of experiences and 2 (half) days for travel).
You only need 11 working days of vacation.

Small group of travelers (4 - 8 people)
Estimated cost (without flights): 48,000 CZK (about 2.000 EUR) / person

🇴🇲 Oman in Its Most Colorful Form

Each day will take us into a different world – mountains, sea, desert, ancient towns and mysterious beehive-shaped tombs, canyons, oases, and traditional cities with sand-colored fortresses. Breathtaking nature, unique views, and stories hidden in stone alleyways and in the warm desert sand.

This journey is designed for nature lovers and seekers of diverse experiences, regardless of age.
The program is flexible – more demanding activities are always optional.
We will travel between locations by car, and if you prefer not to join a hike, you can choose a gentler pace and simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

A return flight with a low-cost airline can be purchased for up to 9,000 CZK. Due to rising prices, I recommend booking as soon as possible. If you fly on a different flight than the rest of the group, you can join us in Muscat.

Included in the estimated costs

Accommodation – in verified guesthouses, traditional houses, and once in a desert camp. The price calculation is based on double rooms. If you are not traveling as a couple or it is not possible to pair you with someone from the group, you will stay in a private room, and the accommodation cost will increase accordingly.

Transportation within Oman by 4x4 car

Care and guiding services throughout the whole trip

Part of the meals (roughly half) will be provided within the arranged accommodations and are included in the estimated costs.

Not included

Flights – I will help you choose and purchase them.

Travel insurance – each participant arranges their own.

Entry fees, local guides (required for safety on certain more demanding hikes)

Each participant pays their own expenses directly, and I provide organization and guiding services as a self-employed person under the trade license "Operation of a travel agency and guiding services in tourism."

Our Journey Through Oman

Together we will set out into a land where wild nature, ancient history, and the kindness of local people come together.
Our days will be filled with exploration, new experiences, and also space to slow down, breathe, and listen to ourselves and the world around us.

🏚 Ancient clay villages. Visit ancient sites with abandoned mud houses, where every step carries echoes of the past and the atmosphere transports you centuries back.

🌴 Traditional mountain village. Stay in a village with a unique UNESCO-protected irrigation system, walk through an oasis of fruit gardens, and enjoy the sunset over the canyon.

🏡 400-year-old heritage house. Taste traditions and culture in a historic home and spend the night in a restored guesthouse in the heart of an old town.

🏞 Clay houses beneath a majestic canyon. Stay at the bottom of a dramatic gorge with views of the country's highest peak and experience the raw beauty of the surrounding nature.

🏛 Mysterious beehive tombs. Visit stone tombs over 4,000 years old, listed as UNESCO World Heritage, and dive deep into the history of ancient civilizations.

🥾 Famous mountain hike. Hike along a dramatic rock face with breathtaking views into the "Omani Grand Canyon," passing through quiet mountain villages and absorbing the peace and strength of the mountains.

🏜 Luxury desert camp. Spend a night among the dunes, watch the sunset over the sand, sit by the fire under the stars, and welcome sunrise over the endless sea of dunes.

💧 Desert oasis pools. Swim in hidden turquoise pools, relax, and listen to the gentle sound of flowing water.

🌊 Coastal and mountain exploration. Explore the coastline, breathe in the ocean air, visit the ruins of an ancient UNESCO-listed city, and head to a remote mountain site with hidden tombs and Bronze Age towers.

🛍 Traditional market. Walk through a market full of spices, fresh fruit, traders' voices, and livestock sounds. Soak in authentic local life and enjoy the sunset by a famous sand-coloured fortress.

🕌 Muscat. Visit the grand mosque and Royal Opera House; those interested can explore museums, wander through the famous market, stroll along the harbour promenade, and swim in the sea. Peek into the Amouage factory, where one of the world's most expensive perfumes is hand-filled and packaged.

🐠 Protected islands. Take a boat to coral-filled islands and snorkel among colorful fish in one of the most beautiful areas of the country.

Throughout the journey, we'll enjoy not only the places and experiences but also time for ourselves – quiet moments, optional evening sharing, and the simple joy of just being.

Who am I

I'm Jana, and I love travelling in a way that touches the soul.  My own, and the souls of the people I meet.

Over the years, I've travelled to many countries and explored different cultures. I've worked with Japanese, Dutch, German, English, and American people.

Whenever someone asked me about my favourite country, I never knew which one to choose. Until I discovered Oman.

I fell in love with Oman from the very first moment, just like most visitors who come here. I dare say there are not many countries in the world where people treat you with such kindness, hospitality, and warmth, where tourists are welcomed as honoured guests.

As I travelled through its stunning landscapes and met the people who live here, I realised I wanted to share this experience with others but differently. Not as a catalogue-style holiday, but as an experience that gets under your skin. The way I like to travel myself.
And maybe, along the way, we can bring some of Oman's kindness back home with us.

With me, you'll experience Oman a little differently.

Discover Oman up close – carefree, together, in a small group of like-minded people.
With respect for local people and nature, at a pace that allows you to truly feel and connect.

No tourist crowds. Just real encounters, local culture, wild nature, silence, and the colours of the Orient.
Journeys that matter. For the body and for the soul.

I've walked Oman's mountains and valleys, found beautiful spots for sleeping under the stars, swimming, and enjoying nature and I'd love to share them with you.
